I completed my Integrated Master’s Degree of Science (Int M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from Yuvaraja’s College University of Mysore. In April 2024, I joined Dr. Sudarshan Gadadhar’s lab for my Master's dissertation and worked on understanding the Impact of Tubulin Glycylation on Microtubule and Microtubule-associated Protein interactions. After graduation, I am continuing in the lab as a Project Associate. I am continuing to work on the same project, where I majorly purify specific MAPs and motor proteins, as well as custom-modified tubulins, to understand how glycylation regulates MT-MAPs interactions via TIRF-based in-vitro assay. I am also involved in understanding the effect of altered glycylation in vivo in transgenic animal models.
Besides research, I enjoy dancing, sketching, and listening to crime podcasts. In my free time, I’m often immersed in a crime podcast, lost in the narration of crime at my desk covered with my sketches. You’ll also likely spot me participating in every dance performance at the institute.
